Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Bernard Membe Leads the SADC Observer Team to Monitor Zimbabwe’s Referendum on the New Constitution,On Behalf of President Jakaya Kikwete

Membe leads the SADC Observer Team to monitor Zimbabwe’s referendum on the new Constitution, on behalf of H.E. President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania who is also the Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation.

Membe (2nd right), Team Leader, had previously quoted saying that, “this Constitutional referendum scheduled for today, 16 March 2013, clearly demonstrates movement from signed declarations into tangible results to the benefit of the Zimbabwean citizens.
