Wizara ya Afya: Homa ya Dengue Dsm ni watu 453 wameumwa toka Jan 2014, vifo vitatu, 13 wapo Wodini, ugonjwa upo mpaka Kenya sasa hivi pia Msumbiji ambako kuna wagonjwa 100, serikali imeshatumia milioni 132 kwa ajili ya kupambana na ugonjwa huu, ugonjwa huu hauambukizi kwa kushikana au kuwa karibu na mgonjwa, ugonjwa huu unachangiwa na mazingira machafu ikiwemo utupaji taka ovyo, mpaka sasa haijapatikana chanjo yake hivyo kinga ni kujikinga na mbu, vaa nguo za kufunika mikono na miguu na kulala ndani ya chandarua hata mchana. ni ruhusa kushea hii post na wengine wapate taarifa mtu wangu.

Dengue Outbreak in Dar es Salaam and Environs

The Tanzania Ministry of Health and Social Welfare is investigating an outbreak of dengue fever in Dar es Salaam and surrounding areas.  A public health team found several persons with dengue fever while investigating an increase in malaria-like illness.  Further confirmatory testing is taking place.  Earlier this year, dengue outbreaks have been reported in Somalia and Kenya, including a large outbreak in Mombasa.
